Our mission

Honest words from our own community — so every family can choose with confidence.

When a family is new to a city, they don’t need a thousand star ratings from strangers. They need to know: is the meat halal, does anyone speak Arabic, is it good for kids, is the price fair? Only people from our community can answer that honestly. That is you.

Real experiences, not ads

Reviews from people who were really there. No paid praise, no fake stars, no swapped reviews.

Answers when families need them

Is it halal? Do they speak Arabic? Is there parking for a family van? You know — so you answer.

In our language

Write in Arabic, English or both. Both are welcome, and both reach the families who search in them.

Our vision: every family, in every city, can ask “is it good, and is it right for us?” — and get an honest answer from someone like them.

Why it matters

Your review is not small.

Two minutes of your time can shape a family’s whole evening.

  1. 01

You write what you honestly found — what you ordered, what it cost, how you were treated.

  2. 02

A mother new to the city reads it before choosing where to take her kids tonight.

  3. 03

A good small business gets the customers it earned. A bad experience gets noticed and fixed.

  4. 04

Places get better, families trust Wazli more, and our community grows stronger.

You keep reviews honest

Fake reviews end here.

Paid praise, fake one-star attacks, spam and insults destroy trust — and families pay the price. Local Guides are how we keep Wazli honest.

  • Never review a place you own, work for, or were paid by
  • Write only what you saw and paid for yourself
  • Mark reviews that look fake, copied or paid forsoon
  • Report spam, ads and insults in answerssoon

Every honest review makes Wazli a place families can believe.

The top level

How it works

From your experience to a family’s decision

  1. 01

    You write

A review or an answer, in Arabic, English or both.

  2. 02

    It’s checked

Spam and rule-breaking content is filtered out. Disputes go to a real person.

  3. 03

    Families read it

Your words appear on the place’s page on wazli.com.

  4. 04

    You level up

Points for publishing, more for helpful votes and answers the owner accepts.

How you earn points

The Wazli Way
  • Write what you experienced yourself
  • Be specific: what, when, how much
  • Be fair — criticise the service, never the person
  • Arabic, English, or both — all welcome
What never earns points
  • Paid, swapped or fake reviews
  • Reviewing your own business or your employer
  • Insults, hate, or personal information about anyone

Breaking these rules removes the points, and can remove Trusted status.

Our promise to you

You give us your honesty. Here is what you get from us.

A real person decides disputes

When an owner disputes a review, our team decides — not the owner.

Your honest opinion is protected

Owners can reply to your review. They cannot edit it or hide it.

Fair points, always

Points only come from published work and from helpful votes by real people.

Your privacy comes first

We never show your email or phone number, and you will be able to hide from every leaderboard with one switch.

Your medal travels with you

It shows next to your name on your reviews, answers and map edits — on wazli.com and on the map.

Questions, answered

Do I get paid?

Not in this version. Rewards with money value come later, once the payment rules are set.

Can a business delete my review?

No. Owners can reply, and they can dispute a review that breaks the rules — our team decides, not the owner.

Do I have to write in Arabic?

No. Arabic, English or both. Families search in both.

What if my review isn’t published?

It usually broke one of the rules above. It never counts against you, and you can write it again.

Can I hide from the leaderboard?

Yes. When city boards open, one switch in your settings hides you from every board.

Is it the same account as Wazli?

Yes. One Wazli account works on wazli.com and on the map.

Your honesty is a gift to every family that comes after you.

Write the review you wish you had read before you went. Somebody needs it tonight.
